Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using Seedling. By creating an account or using the platform in any way, you agree to be bound by these terms.
Seedling ("we", "us", "our") is a crowdfunding platform that allows creators to raise funds from backers for their projects, products, and causes. These Terms govern your use of the Seedling website and all related services.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or make a pledge on Seedling. By using our service, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate and complete.
When you create a campaign, you are responsible for all content posted, including the title, description, images, and any updates you publish. You must have the rights to all content you upload.
Campaign descriptions must be truthful and not misleading. You must not misrepresent your project, your identity, or how funds will be used. Seedling reserves the right to remove any campaign found to be inaccurate or deceptive.
When a campaign reaches its funding goal, you are responsible for delivering on the promises made in your campaign page. Failure to fulfil your commitments may result in account suspension.
When you back a campaign, your payment is processed immediately and securely via Stripe. Pledge amounts are non-refundable unless the campaign is found to be fraudulent or removed by Seedling.
Seedling supports multiple currencies. All campaign funding goals are denominated in GBP. Your pledge will be converted to GBP at the prevailing exchange rate at the time of payment.
Seedling charges a platform fee on successful campaigns. This fee is deducted before funds are released to the campaign creator. Current fees are displayed on the campaign creation page.

We reserve the right to remove any content and suspend any account that violates these rules, at our sole discretion.
You retain ownership of all content you upload to Seedling. By posting content, you grant Seedling a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display and promote that content in connection with the platform and your campaign.
Seedling's own branding, design, and software are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our platform without our express written permission.
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if we believe you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent activity, or posed a risk to other users. If your account is terminated, you will lose access to all associated data and any ongoing campaigns will be closed.
Seedling is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that campaigns will reach their funding goals, that the platform will be available without interruption, or that any particular outcome will result from using our service.
We are not responsible for the actions of campaign creators or backers, and we do not endorse any campaign listed on the platform.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Seedling shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to loss of funds, loss of data, or loss of business opportunities.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where the changes are significant, notify you by email. Continued use of Seedling after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
